Thanks to my partner’s bandmate, who needed to replenish his supply of bulk ramen and microwavable breakfast sandwiches, I was on my way to the Richmond Costco in no time.Īs my friend casually flashed his membership card toward the man checking IDs at the superstore’s entrance, I scurried past the huge flat screen TVs and tan gazebos and made a beeline for the food court.Īfter placing my order at the kiosk for one all-beef hot dog and soda combo and one delicious chicken bake ($3.99), plus a $1.49 churro for later, I grabbed my goodies from the pick-up window and found a table. I needed a way to get into the land of dinner plate-sized pizza slices, foot-long churros and unlimited soda fountain refills.
